When to consider it
Consider it only when the device manufacturer permits an 8.4 V rechargeable NiMH battery in this format.
Check before buying
- Check the device voltage requirement and manufacturer guidance before replacing a single-use 9V battery.
- Use an appropriate 9V-format NiMH charger. Confirm its supported cell voltage and whether a charger is included.
Product evidence and its limits
BattMan II measured 199mAh just after recharge and 161mAh after seven weeks, with positive tester assessment; proper nominal 8.4V rather than true 9V must be compatible with the application.
- Historical test samples. New batch and device compatibility not independently verified.
These are external reviews and tests, not testing performed by Pickuvo.
What the sources do not settle
- The shop groups this as 9V, but its detailed nominal rating is 8.4 V. These are not interchangeable in every device.
- Dimensions differ between the specifications and FAQ. Confirm physical fit where the compartment is tight.
