When to consider it
Consider it for devices that explicitly support 1.2 V rechargeable AA NiMH cells.
Check before buying
- Confirm your device accepts 1.2 V AA NiMH cells; size alone does not establish voltage compatibility.
- Use a charger that supports AA NiMH. Check whether it is included and confirm the number of cells in your order.
Product evidence and its limits
Named Centura AA test uses controlled charge/discharge and storage measurements. 2016 independent comparison corrected stated capacity to 2000mAh; measured approximately 91% at high discharge. Count as competent model with limitations, not the best rechargeable battery.
- Historical samples; current shop identifies same chemistry/capacity/model line but latest batch quality was not tested.
These are external reviews and tests, not testing performed by Pickuvo.
What the sources do not settle
- The page shows a single-cell SKU and a four-unit minimum but also has a conflicting 60-cell package description. Confirm quantity before paying.
- Capacity, charge retention and usable life vary with storage, charger and device; historical tests do not certify every current cell.
