Xplora X6Play

A connected watch with a larger display and more camera/storage capacity than the XGO3. It needs its own Xplora Connect service.

Official source checked Oct 11, 2026No hands-on testing

Subscription required. An active Xplora Connect subscription is required for calls, texts and connected location/alert features. Check current recurring plan charges and taxes at Xplora; the watch cannot simply use the parent’s existing phone plan.

When to consider it

Consider it if the larger display and higher listed camera/storage specifications matter to you. Compare the larger dimensions and weight with the child’s wrist.

Check before buying

Check local AT&T/T-Mobile coverage. The watch’s Xplora Connect service is separate from the parent’s phone plan; do not assume direct Verizon compatibility.
Allow for subscription activation and Guardian app pairing. Confirm the parent phone OS, watch dimensions and delivery eligibility.
Remove the watch before water contact and never charge it wet; the manufacturer’s care guidance limits the practical meaning of its IP68 rating.

What the sources do not settle

The product page mixes standby and everyday-use battery estimates; no fixed runtime is confirmed here.
GPS and alerts depend on connectivity. They do not guarantee protection or replace emergency services.
Product and support shipping sections conflict on some destinations; confirm delivery at the store.
